Our Package Check is the simplest way to explore your property's research potential - now with even more support

What’s involved:

Our expert researchers will carry out a 60-90 minute high-level online records check for the property. We’ll search online databases, specialist websites, and archive catalogues to assess the research potential of the property and determine whether there’s likely to be enough material to fulfil one of our house history research packages.

Within 7 days, we'll book a call with you to share:

• Whether there appears to be enough surviving historical material to support a house history package

• Which of our house history packages would be the best fit for your property

• If we find that the property isn’t viable for one of our packages (less than 5% of properties), we'll explain the issues and discuss alternative options.

To book your Package Check, we ask for a fully refundable deposit of £49.

Your deposit will be fully refunded once you go on to book a full house history package, or if we determine that the property isn’t viable for one of our packages - so there’s nothing to lose.

Please note: This is a high-level feasibility check and not a research session. At this stage, we are unable to share details from individual records - that deeper, document-by-document work requires more hours and happens once you book a full package.
